6 Ensure that you s upport the gri ll pan when it is in the withdr awn or partial ly withdrawn positi on. Ensure that all vents are lef t unobstructe d to ensure vent ilation of the oven . You must ensure th at the gril l control is in the 'OFF ' position when the timer control has been set for automatic cooking.

9 HOW TO FINISH UNPACKING · Place appliance next t o the cab inet in whic h it wil l be instal led. · Remove the appliance pack ing except f or bottom tray wh ich shoul d be le ft in posi tion u ntil the applianc e is read y to be fitted into its c abinet.

19 HINTS AND TIPS · In order to become ac quainted with th e perform ance of the Du al Grill it is ad visable to check food regularl y when gri lling. · Food sho uld be thor oughly dr ied before grillin g to minim ise splashing. Brush le an meats and fish lightl y with a little oil or melted butter to k eep them m oist during cooking.
20 USES OF THE T OP OVEN The top oven is the sm aller of the two ovens. It is heate d by elem ents in the top and bottom of the ov en. It is designed f or cook ing smaller quantit ies of food. I t gives es peciall y good res ults if used to cook f ruit cak es, s weet or savour y flans or qu iche.
21 HINTS AND TIPS · All c ooking sh ould be car ried out on shelf positions one and two using a cranked s helf. · W hen mor e space is req uired, f or exam ple when roasting or casserol ing, a stra ight shelf from the main ove n ma y be place d on the to p oven base.
22 USES OF THE MA IN OVEN PREHE A TING The fan oven quic kly reaches its tem perature, so it is not us ually nec essary to pr eheat the o ven. W ithout preheati ng however, you ma y find you need to ad d an extra 5 – 10 m inutes o n the recomm ended cook ing tim es.

28 CLEA NING THE SHELVES, WIREWORK RUNNERS A ND GRILL/OVEN FURNITURE All rem ovable p arts, exc ept the gril l pan han dle, can be washed in the dish washer. The meat tin, grill pan , grill pa n grid, o ven shelve s and wirework runners ma y be cleaned usin g a soap impr egnated steel wool pad.
29 TO REPLA CE THE OUTER GLA SS 1. Open the ove n door with care and place in the park position at an angle of approxim ately 30°. 2. Holdin g the oven glass with both hands, gentl y place the locat ors into the ho les of the brackets at the bottom of the ov en door.
