6 How to avoid damage to the appliance • Do not line the oven with alumin ium foil and do not place baking trays, pots, etc. on the oven floor , as the heat that builds up will dam- age the oven enamel. • Fruit juices dripping fr om the baking tray will leave stains, which you will not be able to r emove.

10 Befor e using for the first time Setting and changing the current time 3 The oven only operates when the time has been set. When the appliance is connected to the electrical supply or when there has been a power cut, Time flashes automatically . 1.

12 Oper ating the Oven The Electr onic Oven Control 3 General instructions • Always switch the appliance on fi r st by pressing the On/Off button. • When the selected function is lit, th e oven begins to heat up or the time set begins to count down.
13 Selecting the oven function 1. Switch on the appliance with the On/Off button. 2. Press the or button repeatedly until the desired oven function ap- pears. • A suggested temperatur e appears on the temperatur e display . • If the suggested temperatur e is not changed within approx.
14 3 Cooling fan The fan switches on automatically in order to keep the appliance’s sur- faces cool. When the oven is switched off, the fan continues to run to cool the appliance down, then switches itself off automatically .
15 Speedcook After an oven function is selected , with the use of the additional function Speedcook the empty oven can be pre-heated in a relative- ly short time. 1 Important : Do not put the food to be cooked into the oven, until Speedcook is comp leted and the oven is oper ating using the desired function.

17 Inserting the shelf and r oasting pan 3 Anti-tip device All insertable com ponents have a sm all curved indentation on their left and right edges. This indentation serv es as an anti-tip device and must always point towards the back of the oven. Inserting roasting pan: The anti-tip device must point to- wards the back of the oven.
18 Attaching/Removing the Grill Pan Handle The handle is particularly useful for removing the grill pan and tr ay more easily fr om the hot oven. Attaching the handle Insert the handle at an angle fr .
19 Meat pr obe For switching off the oven when the temperatur e at the centre of a roast r eaches a set temperatur e. 21 Clock Functions Countdown To set a countdown. A signal so unds after the time has elapsed. This function does not affect the oper ation of the oven. Cook time To set how long the oven is to be in use. End time To set when the oven is to switch off again.
22 3 How to use the clock functions • After a clock function has been se lected, the corresponding function flashes for about 5 seconds. During this period, the desired times can be set or modified using the or button. • When the desir ed time has been set, the function continues to flash for approx.
23 Countdown 1. Press the S elect button repeat- edly until Countdown flashes. 2. Set the desired Countdown using the or button (max. 99.00 minutes). After about 5 seconds the display shows the time remaining. Countdown lights up. When 90% of the time set has elapsed, an audible signal sounds.

26 Cook time and End time combined 3 Cook time and End time can be used at the same time, if the oven is to be automatically switched on and off at a later time . 1. Select the oven function and temperatur e. 2. Using the Cook time function, set the time that the dish needs to cook, for example: 1 hour .

49 Shelf Support Rails The shelf support rails on the left and right hand sides of the oven can be removed for cleaning the side walls. Removing the shelf support rails First pull the fr ont of the rail away from the oven wall (1) and then un- hook at the back (2).
50 Oven Lighting 1 War n in g: Ther e is a danger of electric shock! Prior to changing the oven light bulb: – Switch off the oven! – Disconnect from the electricity supply . 3 Place a cloth on the oven floor to protect the oven light and glass cov- er .
51 Oven Door The oven door of your appliance may be removed for cleaning. Removing the oven door 1. Open the oven door completely . 2. Completely fold back the brass- coloured clamping lever on both door hinges. 3. Grip the oven door with both hands on the sides and close it to about 3/4 going past the point of resist- ance.
52 Oven Door Glass The oven door is fitted with four glass panels mounted one behind the other . The inner panels can be removed for cleaning. 1 Caution: The following steps are to be performed only when the oven door has been removed.
53 Replacing the centr e glass panels 1. Insert the centre panels at an angle from above into the section of the door in which the handle is located, one after the other ( á ). 2. Lower the centre panels down and push them towar ds the lower edge of the door as far under the r etain- ing frame as they will go ( à ).
