Operating Instructions 11 R I N S E Separate rinse, e.g. for rinsing hand washed fabrics (spinning in accor d- ance with the selected washing type or rinse hold). 3 Rinse hold means: the washing is left in the last rinse water , it is not spun. CONDITIONER Separate conditioning of cotton/linen or easy-car e washing.
Operating Instructions 12 T emperatur e Selector Using the temperatur e selector you can select a temperatur e between COLD and 95° C. 2 E P osition (Energy Saving): Energy saving pr ogram at appr ox. 67° C for lightly to normally soiled cotton washing.
Operating Instructions 13 Befor e Using for the First Time 0 1. Pull the detergent dispenser drawer a short distance out of the contr ol panel. 2. P our about 1 litre of water thr ough the detergent dispenser drawer into the washing machine. When this has been done, done the ÖKO lock can function correctly .
Operating Instructions 14 Shake out washing before placing into the washing machine. Do not place fold ed washing into the drum. Operating Instructions 15 Which Deter gent? T o ensure you obtain the best wash results fr om your appliance, it is important to use the right detergent in your everyday wash, and only detergents r ecommended for use in automatic machines.
Operating Instructions 16 And in which form? Not only are ther e different types of deter gent, but they are also avail- able in different forms. Whether you choose a powder or liquid in traditional or compact form, is down to per sonal choice. Tr aditional Powders P our the powder directly into the dispenser dr awer .
Operating Instructions 17 How much Deter gent and Fabric Softener ? The amount to be used depends on the load: 3 If the deterg ent manufacturer does not make any specifications for small loads, use a third less for half loads, and for very small loads only use half of the amount of washing powder recommended for a full load.
Operating Instructions 18 P erforming a W ashing Cycle Brief Instructions A washing cycle is performed in the following steps: 0 1. Check whether the water tap is opened . 2. Open the door , load the washing. 3. Close the door . 4. Add detergent/conditioner .

Operating Instructions 21 Changing the Spin Speed or Selecting Rinse Hold 0 If desired, r educe the spin speed for the final spin or select rinse hold: Press the spin speed button or Press the RINSE HOLD button. If RINSE HOLD is selected, the washing is left in the last rinse water , it is not spun.

Do not use household furniture polish or abrasive cleaner s to clean the panel and oper ating parts. 0 Wipe over the operating panel with a damp cloth. Use warm water . T rouble Shooti ng If you call out an engineer and the fault is listed here, a char ge is levied even if the appliance is in guarantee.
Operating Instructions 27 Water runs out fr om under the washing machine. Threaded fitting o n the water inlet hose is leaking . Tighten the inlet hose con- nections. The inlet hose has a leak. Check the inle t hose and if necessary replace it . The drain pump cover is not tight.
Operating Instructions 28 If the W ashing Results are not Satisfactory If the washing turns greyish and limescale deposits ar e present in the drum Insufficient washing powder has been added. Incorrect washing powder was used. Stains were not pretr eated.

If the washing machine is located in a room in which below freezing temperatur es might occur , emergency emptying must be carried out if danger of freezing occur s.
