Vigor2110 Series User’s Guide 11 Open File->Add Printer . A welcome dialog will appear. Please click Next . 3. Click Local printer attached to this computer and click Next. 4. In this dialog, choose Create a new port Type of port and use the drop down list to select Standard TCP/IP Port .

Vigor2110 Series User’s Guide 14 The printer can be used for printing now. Most of the printers with different manufacturers are compatible with vigor router. Note 1: Some printers with the fax/scanning or other additional fun ctions are not supported.

Vigor2110 Series User’s Guide 16 5. The web page can be logged out according to the chosen condition. The default setting is Auto Logout , which means the web configuration system will logout after 5 m inutes without any operation. Change the setting for your necessity.

It connects users th rough an Ethernet to the Internet with a common broadband medium, such as a single DSL line, wireless device or cable m odem.

Vigor2110 Series User’s Guide 32 Ping IP – If you choose Ping Detect as detection mode, you have to type IP address in this field for pinging. TTL (Time to Live) – Displays value for your reference. TTL value is set by telnet command. Enable Bridge Mode Check this box to invoke the Bridge function for WA N connection.

WAN Connection Detection - Such function allows you to verify whether network connection is alive or not through ARP Detect or Ping Detect. Mode – Choose ARP Detect or Ping Detect for the system to execute for WAN detection.

Click Enable RIP for activating this function. Enable Bridge Mode Check this box to invoke the Bridge function for WA N connection.

(Default: 192.168.2.1/ 24) 2 nd Subnet Mask An address code that determines the size of the network. (Default: 255.255.255.0/ 24) 2 nd DHCP Se rver Y ou can configure the router to serve as a DHCP server for the 2nd subnet.
Vigor2110 Series User’s Guide 44 DHCP Server Configuration DHCP stands for Dynamic Host Configuration Protoc ol. The router by factory default acts a DHCP server for your network so it automatically dispatch related IP settings to any local user configured as a DHCP client.
Vigor2110 Series User’s Guide 45 If both the Primary IP and Secondary IP Address fields are left empty , the router will assign its own IP address to local users as a DNS proxy server and maintain a DNS cache. If the IP address of a domain name is already in the DNS cache, the router will resolve the domain name immediately .

Always means all the incoming calls will be forwarded into SIP URL without any reason. Busy means the incoming calls will be forwarded into SIP URL only when the local system is busy.

Most modern wireless network uses short preamble with 56 bit sync field instead of long pream ble with 128 bit sync field.
