E-3 English 3.1 2 Purpose of the Heat Pump 2.1 Application The air-to-water heat pump is designed fo r use in existing or newly built heating systems. It is desig ned exclusively for heating domestic hot water and heating water! The heat pump is suitable for mono energ y and bivalent opera- tion down to an external t emperature of -20 °C.
E-4 English 3.2 3.2 Switch Box The switch box is l ocated in the he at pump. All electr ical compo- nents are accessibl e after the front cover and the switch box cover have been removed. The switch box contain s the supply connecti on terminals, the plug connector for t he control line, as well as the power con tac- tors and the soft starter unit.
E-5 English 6.2 5S e t - u p 5.1 General Information The heat pump is suited for outdoo r installat ion. The device should always be in stalled on a permanently smooth, even and horizontal surfac e and must be aligned vert ically.
E-6 English 6.3 Antifreeze Manual drainage shou ld be provided for heat pu mps which are exposed to frost. The antifreez e function of the heat pump con - troller is active whene ver the controller and the heat circulating pump are ready for operation.
