The dust may cause the system to fail and the projector will automatically shutdown.

26 Using Y our Projector Using the On-Screen Display • The projector has a multi-language On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu that can be displayed with or without an input source. • T o navigate through the tabs in the Main Menu, pre ss the or buttons on your projector ’s control panel or remote control.
Using Y our Projector 27 INPUT SELECT The Input Select menu allows you to se lect your projector’s input source. A UTO S OURCE — Select Off (the default) to lock the current input signal. If you press the Source button when the Aut o Source mode is set to Off , you can manually select the input signal.
28 Using Y our Projector PICTURE (in PC Mode) Using the Pi c tu r e menu, you can adjust the display settings of your projector . The Pictur e menu, provides the following options: V IDEO MODE — All.

Using Y our Projector 31 V ERTICAL P OSITION — P ress to move the image down and to move the image up. F REQUENCY — Allows you to change the display data clock fr equency to match the frequency of your computer gra phics card. If you see a vertical flick ering wave, use Fr e q u e n c y control to minimize the bars.
32 Using Y our Projector LAMP Using the Lamp menu, you can adjust the display settings of your projector . The Lamp menu provides the following options: L AMP M ODE — Allows you to select between Normal and ECO mode. Normal mode operates at full power leve l.
Using Y our Projector 33 L ANGUAGE — Allows you to set the language for the OSD. P ress to activate the Language menu. P ROJECTOR M ODE — Allows you to select the proje ctor mode, depending upon how the projector is mounted. • F ront P r ojection-Desktop — Th is is the default option.
34 Using Y our Projector INFORMA TION The Information menu di splays the current projector settings. OTHERS The Others menu allows you to change settings for Menu, Screen, A udio , P ower , Security , and Closed Caption (for NTSC only). Y ou can also perform T est P attern and F actory Reset.
Using Y our Projector 35 M ENU T RANSPARENCY — Select to change the transpar ency level of the OSD background. M ENU T IMEOUT — Allows you to adjust the time for an OSD ti meout. By default, the OSD disappears after 20 seconds o f non-activity . M ENU L OCK — Select On to enable Menu Lock and hide the OSD menu.
36 Using Y our Projector A UDIO I NPUT — Select the Audio input source, options ar e: Audio and HDMI. V OLUME — Pr ess to decrease the volume and to incr ease the volume. M UTE — Allows you to mute the sounds for audio inpu t and audio output. P OWER S ETTINGS — Select and press to activate pow er settings.
Using Y our Projector 37 S ECURITY S ETTINGS — Select and pr ess to activa te security settings. The security settings menu allows you to enable and set passwor d protection.
38 Using Y our Projector b Enabling the P asswor d function will pop up a character scr een, key in a 4-digit number from the scr een and press . c T o confirm, enter the passwor d again. d If the password verification is successful, you may r esume with accessing the projector's fu nctions and its utilities.

C LOSED C APTION — Select On to enable close caption and activate the closed caption menu. Select an appropriate cl osed captions option: CC1, CC2, CC3, and CC4.

T roubleshooting Y our Projector 43 The image is stretched when displaying a 16:9 D VD The projector automatically detects the input signal format. It will maintain the aspect ratio of the projected image according to input signal format with an Original set ting.
44 T roubleshooting Y our Projector TEMP light is blinking amber A proje ctor fan has failed and the projector will automatically shut down. T ry to clear the projector mode by pressing and holding the POWER button for 10 seconds. Please wait for about 5 minutes and try to power up again.
