32 Using Y our Projector Using the On-Screen Display • The proj ector has a multi- language On-Scr een Display (O SD) Menu th at can be displayed w ith or witho ut an input s ource. • T o navi gate through t he tabs in the Main Menu, press the or buttons on your proje ctors control panel or remote contr ol.
Using Y our Projector 33 INPUT SELECT The Input Select menu allows you to se lect your projector’s input source. A UTO S OURCE — Select Off (the default) to lock the current input signal. If you press the Source button when the Au to Source mode is set to Off , you can manually select the input signal.
34 Using Y our Projector NOTE: Y ou cannot disable your current inpu t source. At anytime, a minimum of two input sources have to be enabled. PICTURE (in PC Mode) Using the Pi c tu r e menu, you can adjust the display settings of your projector .

Using Y our Projector 37 • Original — Select Original to mainta in the aspect ratio of image projected according to input s ource. • 4:3 — The input sou rce scales to fit the screen and projects a 4:3 image. • W ide — The input source scales to fi t the width of the scre en to project a wide scr een image.
38 Using Y our Projector DISPLA Y (in Vide o Mode) Using the Dis play menu, you can adjust the display settings of your projector . The Pictur e menu, provides the following options: A SPECT R ATIO — Allows you to select the aspect ratio to adjust how the image appears.
Using Y our Projector 39 LAMP Using the Lamp menu, you can adjust the display settings of your projector . The Lamp menu provides the following options: L AMP M ODE — Allows you to select between Normal and ECO mode. Normal mode operates at full power leve l.
40 Using Y our Projector L ANGUAGE — Allows you to set the language for the O SD. Pr ess to activate the Language menu. P ROJECTOR M ODE — Allow s you to select the projector mo de, depending upon how the projector is mounted. • F ront P rojection-Desktop — This is the default option.
Using Y our Projector 41 N ETWORK — Select On to activate network connection. Select Off to disable network connection. P r ess to activate Network menu. See "NETWORK" on page 41. NETWORK The Network menu allows you to configur e the network connection settings.
42 Using Y our Projector INFORMA TION The Information menu di splays the current projector settings. OTHERS The Others menu allows you to change settings for Me nu, Screen, A udio , P ower , Security , and Closed Caption (for NTSC only). Y ou can also perform T est P attern and F actory Reset.
Using Y our Projector 43 M ENU T RANSPA RENCY — Select to change the tran sparency level of the OSD background. M ENU T IMEOUT — Allows you to adjust the time for an OSD timeout. By default, the OSD disappears after 20 seconds o f non-activity . M ENU L OCK — Select On to enable Menu Lock and hide the OSD menu.

Using Y our Projector 45 S ECURITY S ETTINGS — Select and press to activa te security settings. The security settings menu allows you to enable and set passwor d protection.
46 Using Y our Projector b Enabling the P assword function will pop up a character screen, key in a 4-digit number from the screen and press . c T o confirm, en ter the password again. d If the password verification is successful, you may resume with accessing the projector's functions and its utilities.

C LOSED C APTION — Select On to enable close caption and activate the closed caption menu. Select an appropriate cl osed captions option: CC1, CC2, CC3, and CC4.

Using Y our Projector 49 Managing the Projector From W eb Management Configuring the Network Setting If the projector is co nnected to a network, you can access th e projector using a web browser by configuring the network setting (T CP/IP). When using the network function, the IP addre ss should be uniqu e.
