Enter in the Use Name , Password , VPI , VCI and select your connection type provided to y ou by your ISP. Click Next button. You will need to enter in the VPI, VCI, IP Address, Subnet Mask, ISP Gateway Address, DNS Address and select connection type provided to you by your ISP.

You will need to enter in the VPI, VCI and select connection type provided to you by your ISP. VPI: If instructed to change this, type in t he VPI value for the initial connection.
DSL-514 ADSL Router User ’s Guide 48 LAN LAN is short for Local Area Network. This is consider ed your internal network. These are the IP settings of the LAN interface for the DSL- 514. These settings may be referred to as Private settings. You may change the LAN IP address if needed.

Although the device has only one physi cal ADSL port, the Router can be d efined with more than o ne group of PPP settings. Each group of settings is called a PPP interface and is given a name, such as ppp-0, ppp-1 , etc.
