Set the engine spe ed to 2000 to 2500 r pm (ref er to tachometer on right control panel). This must be increased to full spe ed (3525-3675 r pm ) after becoming f a mi lia r wit h the ma ch in e.
14 e. Push the throttle control to a position a third of the wa y between slo w and f ast. f . I nser t the k ey in the ignition and star t s wi tc h an d turn the s w it ch to “On”. g. Gas oline Engi ne: If t he eng ine is col d, push the choke to the on position.
15 d. Detach the mower driv e belt. e. Remov e six linchpin s (See Fig. 6) (4) from the deck and (2) from the front of the mower . Remov e the linchpins on the left and right rear side of the cutter d.
16 e. Pull the tensio ner pulley awa y from the belt and remov e the PT O belt then remove t he blade driv e belt. f . Revers e the process to install the belt.
