7 Speak er Cable Installation Typically , the 3 meter (5 fee t) Speaker Cables will connect the front Satel lites and the Center S peak er to the Decoder Amplifi er and the 5 meter (9 fe et) Speak er Cable s will c onnect the rear Sate llites to the Decoder Amplifier .

Align the Attachment Arm to the Cen ter Speaker ( see Diagram B) . 2. Use the s crew provided to connect the Attachment Arm to the Center Spea ker .
9 The F ront Satellites The left front and right front Satell ites pl ay stereo music, t he off - scree n so unds of vid eo pl ayb ack an d the front c hannels of 4-cha nnel games. These Sat ellit es should be pl aced to the sides o f your T .V . or monitor .
10 The Rear S atellites The rear Satellites provide the surround effects in Dolby Digi tal, Dolby Surround o r Creative M ulti Speak er Surround modes.
11 The Subwoofer The S ubwoo fer ’ s opt im um pos it ion is on the floor a gainst the wall. The closer the Subwoofer is to a corner , the stro nger th e maximum ba ss output. W e strongly r e commend placing the Subwoofer on the floor (see Dia gr am J ).
12 The Decoder Amplifier can be placed on the desktop, a s helf or any site that mak es the controls convenient. The P ower Adapter cord must be able to reac h from th e Decoder Amplifier back pa nel to your A C power receptacl e. Place the Dec oder A mplifier o n a hard, fl at surface.
13 The Standby LED l ights up when the P ower Adap ter is connect ed to the mains. Press the P ower button to turn on t he De code r Am pl ifie r . The C MSS Music LED wi ll remain illuminated after initial start- up. The last us ed CMS S mode ’ s light will illumina te for sub sequent s tart-ups from syste m standb y mode.

18 Playi ng Gam es: Playi ng Mult i-fo r mat D VD Games The se ga mes hav e Do lby Digi ta l or Dolby Pro Logic movie clips mixed with the actual game sequence. These DVD ga mes have a mix of Dolb y Digital 5.1 soun d (a digi tal signa l at the SPDIF inp ut) and soundcard wavetable output (a signal at the analog inp u t).
