Clamp workpieces securely . ● Cut non-ferrous metals only if you are under the supervision of an experienced person and the dust bag has been removed from the saw . WHEN SA W IS RUNNING Do not allow familiarity from frequent use of your miter saw to result in a careless mistake.
34 35 34 35 ● The right side sliding fence must be removed when making any right bevel angle cuts greater than 35 0 in combination with any right hand miter angle. This fence must also be removed whenever a 45 0 bevel angle is desired with a miter angle greater than 22.
34 35 34 35 T o avoid injury from materials being thrown, always unplug the saw to avoid accidental starting, and remov e smal l pie ces of mater ial f rom the table cavity . The table insert may be removed for this purpose, but always reattach the table insert prior to performing a cutting operation.
36 37 36 37 4. Once the desired miter angle is achieved, press down on the quick cam miter table lock to secure the table into position. 5. If the miter angle desired is NOT one of the ten positive stops noted above, simply lock the table at the desired angle by pressing down on the quick-cam miter table lock (2).
