7 1 Introducin g C62 VoIP Phone 1.1 Thank you Thank y ou for purchasing the C62 V oice Over I nt ernet Proto col (V oIP) telephone. The C62 is a fully featu red telephone that provides v oice comm unication over the data network. T his phone has all the features o f a traditional telephone and al l gives access to many data service features.

15 3 Basic Functions 3.1 Making a call 3.1.1 Call Dev i ce Calls can be m ade using three di ffe rent devices: 1. Handset - Pick up the handset. The icon will be sh own on the LCD screen. 2. Speakerphone - Pre ss the S peaker button. The icon will be shown on the LCD screen.

Busy : Incom i ng calls are imm ediately forwarded whe n the phone is b usy . No Answer : Incoming calls are forwarded when t he ph one is not answe red after a specific pe riod.
17 3.9 Call transfer 3.9.1 Blind Tra nsfer During a conver sation, press the XFER k ey , dial the num ber to which the ca ll is to be transferred followed by "#" and then h ang up.
18 4 Advanced Fu nctions 4.1 Call pickup This allows a thi rd party to answer a cal l by dialing a code. For example: A calls B , but there is no answe r . C can g o off hook, dia l a code plu s B’ s num ber , and pick up the call. The following chart shows how to config ure this in the dial peer scre en.
