- 23 - 3.5 Hardware Inst allation It is recommended tha t the installatio ns described below are carried out by qualifi ed personnel. 3.5.1 Basic Connections Cameras Connect each of the cameras’ outputs to the video input socket in the rear panel of the DVR using appropriate cables.

- 30 - In order to playback a certain video feed from a particular camera, you first need to indicate what time and which camera you wish to receive this infor mation from. Then click to search the files. After searching, there will be a list of recorded files, double click any item on the list to playback.

- 34 - Playing backed up vide o on your PC The backup file will be in DA V format and it can be played by special player (This player will be provided in CD disk). 4.2.4 Record Control Press the Rec ord Contr ol button on the shortcut menu, following dialog box will appear to record control.

- 41 - 5.1.1 Menu Options In order to modify/adjust system configuration, you need to enter the System Menu by pressing the Main Me nu button on the shortcut Menu. Y ou will see th e dialog window with settings for all the systems and options available on your DVR.

- 68 - After system starts, if there is conflict, it will jump to the HDD information page immediately . User can check the system time and HDD tim e, If there is a conflict, enter the normal setup t o modify system time, or enter advanced HDD management to format HDD, then restar t device.

- 78 - 6.6 Record Query Select recorded type, start time, end time, reco rded chan nel, then cli ck “Q uery ” to search file. In the list below (image above), you can select any recording list and click “Play” to playback files or click “Download” to download file.

User can a primary DNS address and a secondary DNS address. 6.8.3.3 DDNS Setting In order to connect your DVR to the inte rnet, you may choose to use the services of a Dynamic DNS service.
