9 About this manual This is the Instruction Manual for 22” Wide TFT -LCD monitor built-in 8Ch DVR system, Model LCD2284DVR, LCD2288DVR, TF T2284C and TFT2288C. The last digit of the model numbers (e.g.: 4 and 8) represent the number of cameras included in the system.

General Information ▫ Y ou can operat e all f uncti ons of the sys tem by u sing t he suppl ied r emote c ontrol ler o r the mouse and partly with the keys on the bottom of the system. Additionally , you can remotely control the system via RS-422C or the Ethernet port located on the back of the system.

Operating Interface There are 3 ways to operate the system by pressing the buttons on the bottom of the system or buttons on the remote controlle r and clicking the mouse. A lot of users mostly prefer to use a mouse on these kinds of products such as DVRs, computers and computer-aided devices.

6. How to Operate 39 6-7. LIVE 6-7.1. FULL SCREEN ▫ A Full SCREEN is available in the LIVE mode or the RECORD mode. ▫ Click on a certain camera’s screen in the LIVE mode or in the RECORD mode and then a FULL SCREEN will be displayed. ▫ Click the FULL screen to return to the SP LIT SCREEN.

6. How to Operate 41 6-7.4. LIVE AUDIO ▫ The basic system (LCD2284DVR) includes two indoor cameras built-in two way audio and two outdoor cameras built-in one way audio and IR LEDs (Infrared) to view objects in the darkness. Audio functions up to 4 cameras.

DISK MANAG E R ▫ Click the “DISK MANAGER” button in the SETUP menu and then the DISK MANAGER window w ill be displ ayed (See Fig. 7-22 ). ▫ A DVD R/W(USB) and 1 Hard Disk Drives can be installed, and all information in regards to the drives will be automatically displayed on the DISK MANAGER window.

HDD WRITE FAIL If the HDD is i n full and the OVERWRITE is turned OFF in the recording mode , the system will activate the relay output (See section 5 -4.3) for a siren or other device. ▫ Click the HDD WRITE FAIL butt on in the DI SK MANAGER window and select “RELAY OUT” or “DISABLE”.
