Installation Y our W ake & Shak e offers y ou the option of using it as both an alar m cloc k and a telephone r ing signaler . The follo wing diagram shows y ou how to set up y our W ake & Shak e so you ma y use it f or both.
Ho w T o Set The Time 1. Press and hold the Time button. 2. Holding down the Time b utton, press the hour b utton, then the minute b utton until the correct hour appears. 3. Release the Time button. NOTE: There is a PM indicator on the top left of the display .
T urning the Cloc k & T elephone Ring Signaler On Adjust the Alar m Function Switch to the setting y ou pref er . A+T : Cloc k alarm & telephone ring Signal on OFF: Both c lock alarm and telephone ring Signal of f T: T elephone Ring Signaling onl y When the alarm is set to one of the modes, the alarm indicator will appear on the display .
Alarm Off Button When your cloc k alar m is activ ated, y ou can press the OFF Button on the front of y our clock to turn the alar m off . The alar m will still be set f or the same time and will operate at the same time the ne xt da y . If your alarm is activated but never switched off, it will automati- cally turn off after 2 hours.
V olume and T one Contr ol Y our W ake & Shak e allows y ou to adjust both the volume and tone of the alarm. The V olume Control increases or decreases the loud- ness of the alarm. The T one Control shapes the sound by making it a higher pitch or a low er pitch.
