- Eng 3 - English General remarks on blood pr essure and blood pr essure measurement 1. T o de fl ate the cuf f quickly , press the “ST ART/STOP” switch. 2. The attached cuff is suitable for arm cir cumferences of 22-32 cm. 3. When attaching the cuff, the air hose should be placed on the inside of your arm on top of the artery .

- Eng 11 - English LOADING THE BA TTERIES REMOVING THE BA TTERIES • When the icon is displayed or nothing appears in the display , replace the old batteries with four new ones. All four batteries should be changed at once. • The memory is erased if the batteries are r emoved for replacement.
- Eng 12 - English USING AC ADAPTER (OPTION) • If you plan to use the AC adapter for an extended period of time, remove the batteries. If the batteries are left in the compartment, electr olyte may leak from the batteries and cause a fault in the blood pressur e monitor .
- Eng 13 - English MEASURING YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE 3 Adjust the position of the arm cuff so that the blue marker is located in the center of your arm and the hem of the cuff is 1 to 2 cm above your elbow . * The cuff should be put on the bare arm or over a light-weight underwear .
- Eng 14 - English MEASURING YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE 4 Pull the end of the arm cuff outwards so that the cuf f is snug around your arm and then secure the end to the V elcro. 5 Place your arm on a table or the like, so that the center of the cuff comes to the height of your heart.
- Eng 15 - English TIPS FOR OBT AINING ACCURA TE MEASUREMENTS Y our blood pressur e varies according to your postur e, the time of day and a range of other factors. Ideally , you should measure your blood pr essure in the same postur e at the same time every day .
- Eng 16 - English MEASURING YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE • Plug the air hose connector fi rmly into the air hose socket on the main unit, as illustrated. 2 Plug the air hose connector into the main unit. 3 Set the pressurization setting value The setting value should be at least 30mmHg higher than the normal systolic blood pressur e value.
- Eng 17 - English MEASURING YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE 4 Place the cuff at the height of the heart. 5 Press the ST ART/STOP switch (the yellow switch). * If the pr essurization value exceeds 280mmHg, if pressurization feels abnormal, or if you want to stop the measurement pr ocess, press the ST ART/STOP switch again.
