6 Gener al · T he appliance should only be operated with the turntable and turntable support inserted. · Only suitable microwave ovenwar e should be used. · T o pr otect the appliance against corr osion fr om moisture (con densation) in the cavity or on the door , wipe these ar eas dry after each use.
7 UK · When heating liquids, e.g. soups, sauces and bever ages in your micr owave oven, overheating the liquid beyond boiling point can occur without evidence of bubbling. This could r esult in a sudden boil over of the hot liquid - with the ri s k of scalding the user .
8 Do not use your micr owave oven for the following : · to boil eggs or escar gots in their shells, as they will bur st. Eggs can be poached or «fried» in a micr owave oven as long as the yolks ar e pricked.
9 UK • The viewing window heats up during grilling (and combination grilling and micr owave cooking), so keep small childr en away from the appliance. • T o close the door when the viewing window is hot, pr ess the on the lower right-hand side of the door .

11 UK What else to note... · Food comes in all shapes, sizes and textur es. The quantities also vary . For these r easons the time and amount of ener gy needed to defr ost, heat or cook will also vary . As a gener al rule : Double the power = nearly half the time Please r efer to the cooking charts.
12 Installation and Connection Installation 1. Remove any pr omotion label from the door . 2. Install the oven on a flat, level surface. The surface must be str ong enough to safely bear the weight (22 kg) of the oven, and the contents. T o avoid the possibility of causing vibr ation or noise the oven must be in a stable position.
13 UK Electrical connections · WARNING! THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED. The manufacturer declines any liability should this safety measure not be observed. • If the plug that is fitted to your appliance is not suitable for your socket outlet, it must be cut off and the appr opriate plug fitted.

T urntable In stallation 1. Place the turntable support on the cavity bottom. 2. Place the turntable on top of the turntable support as shown in the diagr am. Make sur e that turntable hub is securely locked in the turntable shaft. Never place the turntable upside down.
17 UK Setting the clock Example: 4:30 hrs When your oven is plugged in for the fir st time or when power r esumes after a power interruption, the numbers in the display r eset to “ 00:00 ” . This 12 hour digital clock allows you to set it fr om “ 01:00 ” to 12:59 ” T o set: 4:30 hrs 1.

Kitchen timer The kitchen timer can also be used as a gener al purpose r eminder . For example you could use it to set the time it takes to boil the egg that you ar e cooking on the hob . Micr owave only In this mode, micr owaves generate heat dir ectly in the food.

25 UK Autocook pr ogr ammes • The Autocook pr ogrammes allow you to simply and automatically cook a r ange of popular foods. • Oper ation is very easy . Simply touch the appropriate key the corr ect amount of times (see dir ections below) and touch ST ART .
