7 • Remov e all par ts and hardware pac kages from the car ton. Lay out par ts and hardw are and identify using the illustrations on pages 4 and 6. NO TE: Not all of the supplied par ts and hardware will be needed f or your par ticular tractor . Unneeded items ma y be discarded after you ha ve completed assemb ly and check ed operation of unit.
8 STEP 4: (SEE FIGURE 4) • Assemble a shoulder bolt (L) and a 3/8" w asher (T) to the outside of R.H. side plate, securing it with a 3/8" fl anged nut (X).
9 3/8" X 3-1/4" HEX BOL T (A) LARGE SP A CER (MM) PULLEY (NN) 3/8" LOCKW ASHER (O) 3/8" HEX LOCK NUT (Z) 3/8" W ASHER (T) LONG END OF HUB STEP 7: (SEE FIGURE 7) • Attach the pulley (long end of hub f acing do wn) and the large spacer (MM) to the hole shown in the clutch/ idler assembly .

11 THIS SECTION IS FOR TRA CT ORS WITH AN ELECTRIC A TT A CHMENT CLUTCH STEP 14: (SEE FIGURE 14) • Attach the two suspension arms to the rear of the clutch/idler assembly using tw o 5/16" x 3/4" hex bolts (C) and 5/16" nyloc k nuts (Y) f or each ar m.
12 STEP 19: (SEE FIGURE 18) • Attach the clutch/idler assembly to the tr actor frame. Hook the notched suspension ar ms onto the tw o shoulder bolts (M) assembled to the outside of the tractor frame . Lift the front of the assemb ly and attach it to the R.
13 STEP 22: (SEE FIGURE 21) • F asten the R.H. Side Plate (bend facing out) to the front three holes shown in the tractor fr ame using three 3/8" x 1" thread f or ming bolts (E), three 3/8" lock w ashers (O) and one 1/2" washer (R) placed on the third bolt as a shim between the side plate and the frame .

15 INST ALLING CLUTCH/IDLER ASSEMBL Y This section cov ers the installation of the Clutch/Idler assembly to tr actors with attachment clutches that are either rod operated (p . 15), cable operated (p . 17) or electric (p. 19). Use the appropr iate instructions for y our tractor .

The belt must be placed to the inside of the engine pulley k eeper , the idler pulle y and the keeper bolt located beside the large pulley .

26 RAISING AND LO WERING • T o raise, push do wn on the lift handle until the snow throw er locks in the raised transport position. • T o lower , push down slightly on the lift handle and pull the trigger . With the trigger pulled, slowly lo wer the snow thro wer until it reaches the ground.
