Installation must conform to Local Codes, or, in the absence of Local Codes, with the Current National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI 2223.1 (USA); Canadian installation must fotlow CAN/CGA-BI49-1 or 2 (latest Edition).

Step 6. SliOe the appliance and vent assembly towards the wall, carefully inserting the vent pipe into the vent cap assembly. lt is important that the vent pipe extend into the vent cap sufficient distance so as to resuft in a minimum pipe overlap of 1-114 inches.
