3 Step 2 — Rig and Mount Unit MOUNTING ON GROUND — M ount unit on a solid, level concrete pad. Position unit so water or ice from roof does not fall directly ont o unit. Acce ssory stacking ki ts can be used when units are to be stac ked. See i nstallati on instruct ions provided with the accessory kit.
4 Only use factory specified liquid-line filter driers with rated working pressures less than 600 psig. NOTE: Do not install a suction-line filter dri er in liquid line. MAKE PIPING SWEA T CONNECTIONS — Remove plasti c caps from liquid a nd suction servi ce valves.

11 ST AR T -UP Preliminary Chec ks 1. Check that all internal wiring connections are tight and that all barri ers, covers, and panels ar e in place. 2. Field electrical power source must agree with unit name - plate rating. 3. All service val ves must be open.
12 T o troubleshoot: 1. Apply voltmeter acros s crankcase heat er leads to see if heater voltage i s on. Do not touch heater . Carefully feel area around crankcas e heater; if warm, c rankcase heater is functioning. 2. W ith power off and heater leads disconne cted, check across leads with ohmmet er .
