Operating Instructions 10 Contr ol panel Pr ogram Selector The pr ogram selector determines the type of wash cycle (eg. water level, drum movement, number of rinses, spin speed) accor ding to the type of articles to be washed.
Operating Instructions 11 RINSE Separate rinse followed by spin or rinse hold, eg . for rinsing hand- washed cottons/linen. 3 Rinse hold means: The washing remains in the last ri nsing water and is not spun.
Operating Instructions 12 GENTLE RINSE Separate gentle rinse followed by short spin or rinse hold, eg. for rins- ing hand-washed woollens or delicates. CONDITIONER Separate gentle conditioning for damp woollens or delicates (1 gentle rinse, liquid conditio ner is washed in fr om the compartment æ fol- lowed by short spin or rinse hold).
Operating Instructions 13 STAIN For dealing with heavily soiled or stained washing (in-wash stain tr eatment is adde d at the optimum time during the cour se of the progr am). STAIN can be used in conjunction with the pr og r am selector settings: – PRE WASH (CO TTONS/LINEN); – PRE WASH (EASY -CARES ); – MAIN W ASH; – EASY -CARES.

Operating Instructions 22 W ash Progr am Progr ess Progr am progress display The pr ogram selector is also a pr og r am progr ess display . It turns clockwise as the pr o gr am pr og r esses until it ends, showing the stage of the pr ogram that is currently being carried out.

If SOAKING has been selected: 0 Release the SOAKING button (main wash for CO TT ONS/LINEN or EASY - CARES will run). Do not use ho usehold furniture polish or abr asiv e cleaner s to clean panel and operating parts. 0 Wipe over the operating panels with a damp cloth. Use warm water . Deter gent Dispenser Drawer The deter gent dispenser drawer should be cleaned fr om time to time.

Operating Instructions 28 Cleaning the dr ain pump P aper clips, nails and so on can sometimes get into the washing machine with the washing and r emain in the drain pump casing. Fluff and strands of fabric can gather on these items and block the drain pump.

Operating Instructions 30 The washing machine vibrates duri ng opera- tion or is unstable. The tr ansport packaging has not been r emoved. Remove tr ansport packaging accor ding to the installation and connection instructions. The machine is not level.

The conditioner inse rt has not been corr ectly positioned inside the cond itioner com- partment or is blocked. Clean the deter g ent dis- penser dr awer and attach the conditioner insert secur ely .
Operating Instructions 32 If the washing r esults are not satisfactory If the washing turns greyish and limescale deposits ar e present in the drum • Insufficient detergent has been added. • Incorr ect detergent was used. • Stains were not pre-tr eated.
Operating Instructions 33 Carrying out an emer gency emptying • If the washing machine no longer pumps out the water , emergency emptying must be carried out. • If the washing machine is located in a room in which below fr eezing temper atures might occur , emergency emptying must be carried out.

Installation and connection instructions 39 Levelling the Appliance Floor unevenness can be compensated for and the height can be cor- r ected with the four adjustable screw feet . The height can be adjusted in a r ange of +1 0 ... -5 mm. T o adjust the feet use the special spanner supplied.
