Softwar e Installa tion To use the machine by connecting it to a computer, software includ ing the drivers needs to be copied (installed) to the compu ter's hard disk. Installation time varies depend ing on the computer environment or the number of application software to be installed.

On the Setup Procedure Selection screen, if yo ur p rinter’s display looks like the example on the left (above Push Bu tton Method), press the machine’s Stop button, then click Other Methods on the Setu p Procedure Selection screen ( 2-1 ).

On the Software Installation Li st , select *software to install and cli ck Next . * MP Drivers is required and cannot be deselected. We recommend installing My Image Garden and Quick Menu to take full advantage of the printer’s features.

Completing the Setup 2 3 Continue following o n-screen instructions . When the S etup Complete screen appears, click Next . At this point, setup of the printer and network is complete. Continue to follow any remaining on-screen instructions to fin ish and exit the setup program.
