Using the Scanner Buttons 10 Using the Scanner Buttons You can use the four conven ient buttons on the scanner’ s front pan el to scan and pe rform rela ted tasks easily with a single touch of the button. Place an item on the document glass of the scanner before pressing a button.
Scanning Film 11 Scanning Film This scanner can scan 35 mm f ilm strips one frame at a time. Pr eparing to Scan Film Use the following procedures to place the Film Adapte r Unit and the Film Guide on the document glass to scan film. 1 Attach the cable for the Film A dapter Unit to the F AU connector on the scanner’ s back panel.
Scanning Film 12 2 Gently close the document cover . 3 Start ArcSoft PhotoStudio. Select [Start] , [Programs] or [All Programs], [Ar cSoft PhotoS tudio] and [Ph otoStudio 5]. Double-click the [Applications (Mac OS 9)] and [Photo Studio] folder s and the [PhotoStudio] icon.

Select the folder where you wish to store the im age file, enter a file name, select a file type (JPG forma t is recommended) and click [Save].
