Refer to the “Hitching Y our Burley to Y our Bic ycle ” section for the proper installa tion and use of your hitch.

Inser t the quick-release lever through the hollow axle of the wheel, making sure the lever is on the at side of the wheel and the springs are mounted on each side as shown in the illustration.

A dangling safety strap can contact the spokes and damage the rear wheel or cause an accident, resulting in serious injury .
