4 READY ARMED ST A Y FIRE TBL • EZ TOUCHPAD INDIC A TOR S The green READY light shows the status of the zo nes in your system: ON indicates that all zo nes are secure and the system is ready to be armed. FLASHING indicates that at lea st one z one is open.
5 EZ TOUCHPAD CONTROLS STAY Button - Press to arm system in the STAY mode. Perimeter devices such as windows and door s w ill be protect ed, while interior protec tive devices s uch as motion sen sors will be de-ac tivated, all owing free movement th roughout the premises.
6 AR MI N G W H E N LE AV IN G 1 Check the EZ Touchpad indicators. Th e green RE ADY light should be O N-STEADY, indicat ing tha t the system is ready to arm. • If the green RE ADY light is BLINKING, this indicate s that a zone is f aulted. The RE A DY light is blinking out the zone number of the open zone.
7 BYPASSING FAULTED ZONES If you are trying to arm with a faulted zone or zones, the green REA DY light will be blink ing out the num ber of the f aulted zones. If y ou cannot repair the zone(s), they may be temporarily removed f rom the sy stem, or bypassed , using the fol- lowing p rocedure: 1 Press the B Y P A S S button.
8 ARMING WHEN ST AYING HOME Arming in the Stay mode allows you to remain home with the pe rimeter protection active and th e interior protection off, so that you may move freely about the premises. 1 Check the EZ Touchpad indicators. Th e green RE ADY light should be ON-STEADY, indicating that the system is ready to arm.
9 ARMING AND LE AVING WITH OTHERS STAYING 1 Check the EZ Touchpa d indicators. The green RE ADY light should be ON-STEADY, indicating that the system is read y to arm. • If the green READY light is BLINKIN G, this indicates that a zone is faulted. The READY light is b linking out the zone number of the open zone.
10 EXITING WITH THE SYSTE M A LRE ADY ARMED 1 Press the STAY button. The ARME D indicator will light and STAY will begin to flash, indicati ng the 60 second exit delay period. 2 Unlock t he dead bolt from the inside. System will disarm. 3 Open the door and exit.
11 EXITING WITH THE SYSTE M A LRE ADY ARMED 1 Press the A WAY button. The ARM ED indicator will begin to fl ash, indicating the 60 se cond exit delay period.
12 EMERGENCY BUTTONS The Emergency Buttons, if programmed, are always active, whether the system is armed or disarmed. The Emergen cy Button must be Held Dow n for 3 seconds to activate the emergency alarm and transmit the signals to central station.
13 DISARMING THE SYSTEM Disarming when returning home: When returning home, simply unlocking your deadbolt from the outside w i ll automatically disarm the system.
14 If an alarm occurs while you ar e at home: The EZ Touchpad siren will sound and the red AR ME D light will flash. Proceed with caution! If y ou suspect that an in truder m ay still be in the pr emises, leave immediat ely and call authoritie s from a neighbor's telephone.
15 If a f ire is detected, the siren will sound a distin ct pulsating tone and the FIRE indicator on the EZ Touchpad will be flashing. If a Fire Alarm does occur: * Note: This feature may not apply to your syste m. Consult your i nstaller to d etermine if y our system i ncludes fire prote ction.
16 FIRE PROTECTION Preparing a Fire Escape Plan Even with the most advanced fire alarm system, adequate pr otection requires an escape plan. To prepare y our plan, draw floor plans of your building . Sho w tw o exits - a front or back door and a window f rom each room .
17 Your ADT Safewatch EZ S ystem is const antly monitoring its own componen ts, as well a s all critic al services, such as AC power an d the telep hone line, to insure t hat it is always ready to p rovide the protection for which it was des igned.
18 SYSTEM TROUBLE ERROR CODES TBL Flas hes / Touch pad beeps RE ADY Flashes Trouble Conditi on Action 6 NONE Lost Key Mode This is a reminder that the system has been pu t into the lost key mode ([STAY] & [AW AY] pressed simultaneously). W hile in this mode, the system can only be dis - armed with your EZ-IFOB.
19 The space belo w is for recor ding the descr iptions of the zones in your system . • If the system has a faulted zone, count the number of RE ADY light flashes and refer to the list below to see which zone is open and secure it (close the door or w indow, etc.

21 Lost Key Mode In the event that the keys to your deadbolt are lost or stolen, the system m ay still be used by arming in the Lost Key mode. In Lost Key mo de, the system may be armed as usual, however unlocking the deadbolt w i ll not disarm the system.

Esplorando le pagine segenti del manuali d’uso ADT EZ imparerai tutte le caratteristiche del prodotto e le informazioni sul suo funzionamento. Le informazioni sul ADT EZ ti aiuteranno sicuramente a prendere una decisione relativa all’acquisto.
