This will prevent the risk of the phone being answered before the batteries are charged, which may prevent them from reaching maximum capacity .

Answer delay Answer delay sets the number of times your Freestyle 65 will ring before the answer machine picks up your call and star ts playing the outgoing message. The default setting is for the answering machine to answer after 6 rings. Y ou can change this setting to between 2-9 rings.
Audible Message alert When new messages have been received, your Freestyle 65 will beep ever y 10 seconds (when audible message is switched ON). The volume of the beep is at the volume you have set for the loudspeaker .
T o record your own Answer and R ecord outgoing message Y ou can r ecord your own Answer and Record outgoing message to use instead of the pre-recor ded message already available.

The prompt will announce, “Message deleted” . The message is not deleted yet, but at the end of playback when there is an 8 second countdown followed by a confir mation tone.
