Synergy 2150 - Edition 7 – 30th May ’00 10 Plan the location of your Synergy 2150 Y our Synergy 2150 works by sending and receiving radio signals between the base station and the handset. The strength of the signal can depend on where you site the base station.
Synergy 2150 - Edition 7 – 30th May ’00 11 Battery performance To keep your batter y in the best condition, leave the handset of f the base station for a few hours at a time (after the initial 16 hour charge). After charging your Synergy handset for the first time, subsequent charging time for the batter y is appr oximately 4-5 hours.

21 Using y our S yner gy 2150 answ ering machine USING Y OUR ANSWER MACHINE As soon as the base station is connected and fully charged, your answering machine is ready for use. It comes with a pre-recor ded answer/ recor d announcement: “Hello, your call cannot be taken at the moment, so please leave your message after the tone” .

Synergy 2150 - Edition 7 – 30th May ’00 T o set the handset priority If you are using more than one handset on your base station, you can select one handset to ring before all the others. Y ou can then set the number of rings it will make before the other handsets star t ringing.
Synergy 2150 - Edition 7 – 30th May ’00 T o set call barring Y ou can bar calls with up to five dif ferent pr efixes, making it impossible to dial out if a telephone number is preceded by one of these prefixes. This could be an inter national dialling code or a premium rate ser vice.
