10 Chapter 5 - Inst allation 5.1 Hardw are Inst allation a. Remove the v andal d ome co ver: Use the Allen Key to unscrew the fou r screws and rem ove th e dome cover from the ca m era d evi ce. b. PoE, Power , DIDO, Au dio Connection i. Insert the PoE, DIDO, and Audio cab le through conduit hole A or B.
1 1 ii. Connect t he PoE (1), DIDO (2), and Audio (3) Cabl es to their respective term inal s. See the next p age f or more deta ils regarding the DIDO an d Audio connection. 1) Power over Ethernet (PoE) Co nnection 2) Power A dapt er Connection Please refer to the definition of the term in al blocks below .

Fo r dry bag inst allation: Place the dry bag on the cam era device and secure it us ing the strap tier e.
13 f. For wall inst allation: i. Chose the locat i on on the wall to place the cam era. Attach the lo cation sticker to the desired spot. ii. Dr ill f our holes through the center of the four location holes on the sticke r . iii. Ha mm er th e four plastic anchors w hi ch are provi ded in the product package into the four location holes.
14 g. Fo r ceiling inst allation: Mount the camera devi ce on the desired location. Use the screwdriver from the product packa ge to tighten the four incl uded screws clockwise throu gh the four holes on each side of the dev i ce as shown below . The best place to m ount the ca m era i s into a ce iling stud.
15 iii. Rel ea se the video adjustm ent screw and to ad just the lens direct i on. After completion, tighten the v id eo adjustm ent scre w. 2) Adjust the view angle and focus range i. Rel ease the viewing angle cont roller ba r and t hen slide it le ft o r right to adj ust the viewing angle.
