Histor y Chart Icon Indicates data is currently displayed on the Histor y Chart (6). 2. 1 2 to 24 Hour Weather For ecast Self-Calibrating Forecasting pulls data from the outdoor sensor to generate your personal forecast. 3. 6 SETUP Set the A-B-C Switc h The A -B-C switc h is located inside the batt er y compar tment. It can be set to A , B or C. How e ver , you must select the same letter c hoices for bot h the sensor and the displa y unit in order for the units to sync hronize.

BA TTERY SAFETY : Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation. Remove batteries from equipment which is not to be used for an extended period of time.
8 Atomic Cloc k AcuRite atomic cloc ks use a radio-controlled signal to synchronize to t he correct time broadcast by the National Institute of S tandards and T echnology (NIST) Radio Station WWVB, locat ed near For t Collins, Colorado. WWVB broadcasts the current time and dat e with split-second accuracy .
9 Placement for Maximum Accuracy AcuRite sensors are sensitive to surrounding envir onmental conditions. Proper placement of bot h the display unit and t he sensor are critical t o the accuracy and per for mance of this product. Display Unit Placement Place the displa y unit in a dr y area free of dir t and dust.
10 3-in-1 Sensor Installation Guidelines INSTALLATION HEIGHT Mount t he sensor at least 5 fee t (1 .5 met ers) of f the ground (higher is better for wind measurement) in an open area.
11 Using The Weat her Center Learning Mode Self-Calibrating Forecasting use a unique algorithm t o analyze c hanges in pressure o v er a time period (called Lear ning Mode) to deter mine your altitude. Af ter 1 4 days, t he Learning Mode icon disappears from the displa y screen.
12 High & Low Records The “MIN/MAX” button displays minimum and maximum recordings for outdoor and indoor temperature and humidity . T o view the MINIMUM temperature and humidity readings, press and release the “MIN/MAX” button until the “MIN” icon appears on t he display next to t he low r ecords.
13 Customize Weat her T ic ker Messages Customize whic h messages you w ant to scroll across the WEA THER TIC KER: 1 . Press the “ ” butt on to manually cycle through eac h message available. 2. During t he manual revie w: PRESS the “ ” button t o activate the cur rent scrolling message.
