EN 4 2 Warnings •DO NOT connect your appliance to the electricity supply until all packing and transit protectors have been removed. • Leave to stand for at least 4 hours before switching on to allow compressor oil to settle if transported horizontally .
EN 5 ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS Before you insert the plug into the wall socket make sure that the voltage and the frequency shown on the rating plate inside the appliance corresponds to yourelectricity supply . Rating label is on the left hand side of fridge inner liner .
EN 6 ENERGY SAVING TIPS 1- Ensure your appliance is installed in a well ventilated area. 2- Ensure the time between buying chilled/frozen food and placing them in your appliance is kept at minimum, particularly in summer . We r ecommend you use a cool bag or a special carrier bag to carry frozen food.
EN 7 3 Installation TRANSPORTATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. The appliance should be transported only in a vertical upright position. The packing as supplied must be intact during transportation.
EN 8 food in the freezer will not defr ost even if the ambient temperature falls as low as -15 °C. When first installed the product MUST NOT be placed in low ambient temperatures because the freezer will not r educe to it’ s standard operating temperatur e.
EN 9 REVERSING THE DOORS We r ecommend that you reverse doors before switching on for the first time. T ools required: Small and medium size flat and cross-headed scr ewdrivers, a pair of pliers.
EN 10 11. Fit the other front feet (10). 12. Carefully stand your appliance. (Y ou may need somebody to help you.) Adjust the front feet (See Installation Instructions) 13. Put back all, loose items and fittings. 14. W ait for at least 4 hours to allow the system to settle before switching on.

EN 12 4 Before operating Final Check Before you start using the fridge/ freezer check that: 1. The feet have been adjusted for perfect levelling. 2. The interior is dry and air can circulate fr eely at the rear . 3. Clean the interior as recommended under “CLEANING AND CARE.
EN 13 5 Using your refrigerator 4 2 3 1 TEMPERATURE CONTROL AND ADJUSTMENT INDICATOR LIGHTS There ar e three colour ed indicator lights located on the front of the appliance which shows the operating mode of the freezer . Green Indicator (1) Illuminates when the appliance is connected to the mains and will glow as long as electricity is available.
EN 14 IMPORTANT: When you press the fast fr eeze switch, there may be a short delay befor e the compressor starts to operate. This is normal and does not indicate a compressor fault. Remember you must take your reading very quickly since the thermometer temperature will rise very rapidly after you remove it fr om the freezer .
EN 15 DEFROSTING Y our appliance defrosts automatically . Warnings! The fan inside the freezer compartment circulates cold air . Never insert any object through the guar d. Do not allow children to play with the freezer fan. Never store pr oducts that contain inflammable propellant gas (eg dispensers, spray cans etc.
EN 16 6 Maintenance and cleaning ** We r ecommend that you switch off the appliance at the socket outlet and pull out the mains plug before cleaning. ** Never use any sharp abrasive instrument, soap, household cleaner , detergent and wax polish for cleaning.
EN 17 7 Do's and Don'ts Do- Clean your appliance regularly (See “Cleaning and Care”) Do- Keep raw meat and poultry below cooked food and dairy products. Do- T ake off any unusable leaves on vegetables and wipe off any soil. Do- Leave lettuce, cabbage, parsley and cauliflower on the stem.
EN 18 Don’t- Exceed the maximum fr eezing loads (6 kg in any 24 hours) when freezing fr esh food. Don’t- Give childr en ice-cream and water ices direct fr om the freezer . The low temperature may cause ‘freezer burns’ on lips. Don’t- Fr eeze fizzy drinks.
