32 Radio mode This unit is equipped with an RDS radio receiv er . Man y of the receivab le FM sta- tions transmit a signal that not only car- ries the programme b ut also additional inf or mation such as the station name and progr amme type (PTY). The station name appears in the dis- pla y as soon as it is receiv ed.

36 T reble reduct ion feat ure during interference ( H ICUT) The HICUT function improves the sound when radio reception is poor (FM only). When interference is being experi- enced, the treble is automatically cut, which therefore also reduces the level of interference.
