If you belong to a small organization an d your Internet a ccess is through an ISP , the ISP can provide you with the Intern et addresses for your local networks.

See the appendices for more detailed information ab out wireless networks. 5.1 Wireless Network Overview The following figure provides an exampl e of a wireless network.

Unauthorized devices can still see th e information that is sent in the wireless network, even if they cannot use the wireless network.

A LAN is a computer network lim ited to the immediate area, usually the same building or floor of a bu ilding.
