4 1. Introduction to the A-6000 The ZyXEL A-6000 is a Wireless Bridge for In ter-building Point to Point Ethern et connection. By supporting AES/TKIP , A-6000 is particularly suited for sensitive data transmission. System privacy is also inherent through the MAC & 802.

8 4.2. To access the A-6000 Sy stem WEB Server There are three tags on left-top of the Web Server System Status window: Status, Configuration and Syslog. Each of the tag contains different functions of the A-6000 management. Follow these steps to configure the channel frequency and SSID using a web browser: 1.

12 Fragment Length (2346) Shows the fragment leng th. RTS/CTS Threshold (256 - 2346) Specifies the value of th e RTS/CTS threshold. Enter a value between 256 and 2346. Security Specifies the secur ity policy in AES, or TKIP Security Key Specifies key setting related to secur ity policy.
13 To enable firmware updates: 1. Enter the host PC’s IP address, User Name, Password, Image Path, and Image Name in the data- entry files . 2. Clic k Update F irmware to stor e the new fi rmware changes. Note: The red reminder s only appear if you update setting in Configuration/System Setup page.

17 6. Connect the an tenna to the N-male connector po rt labeled on the top of outdoor unit. F or the directional antenna installatio n, use the HDF 400 RF coaxial cable. The polarization of antenna f or both BU and RU should be the sa me; otherwise, the installation will fail to comm unicate.

19 5.4. Indoor Unit Installation After the outdoo r unit installation is completed, you may follow th e procedures below to install the indoo r unit. 1. Choose an appropriate place for the network/power injector . Y ou might hang it on the wall or just p lace it on the desk.
