Where you obtain your n etwork number depends on your particular situation.

If your networks a re isolated from the Internet, for exampl e, only between y our two branch offi ces, yo u can assi gn any IP addresses to the hosts without problem s.
Prestige 650 ADSL Router 3-4 Internet Access 3.3.4 DHCP Configuration DHCP (Dynamic Ho st Configuration Pro tocol) allows the individual clients (c omputers) t o obtain the TCP/IP configuration at start-up fro m a centralized DHCP server.

Multicast is a third way to deliver IP packets to a group of hosts on the netw ork - not everybody .

Th e valid range for the VPI is 0 to 255 and for the VCI is 32 to 65535 (0 to 31 is reserve d for local management of ATM traffic).

Prestige 650 ADSL Router Remote Node Configuration 4-1 Chapter 4 Remote Node Configuration This chapter covers the parameters that are protocol-independent. Protocol-dependent configuration (TCP/IP and Bridging) is covered in the following chapters. A remote node is required for placing calls to a remote gateway.

Prestige 650 ADSL Router 7-6 NAT 7.2 Using NA T 7.2.1 SUA (Single User Account) V ersus NA T SUA (Single User Account) is a ZyNOS implementati on of a su bset of NAT that supports two types of mapping, Many-to-One and Serv er . See section 7.3.1 for a detai led descriptio n of the NAT set for SUA.
