MOUNTING HEIGHTS The range hood must be installed at a minimum height of 24 inches (61 cm) from the cooking sur face. If a connecting duc t work c omposed of two par ts is used, the upper part must be placed outside the low er par t. Do not connect the range hood duc t to the same duct used to exhaust hot air or fumes from another appliance .
