Shielded cables and conne ctors are required to prevent radia tion and reception of electrical noise.

These include roll and fanfold medi a ( Figure 9 ) that may be labels or card stock and t hat may have optional perf orations or registration holes.

The media determines wh ether you need to use ribbon and how wide the rib bon must be.
