6 T ouch Contr ol sensor fields The appliance is operated using T ouch Contro l sen- sor fields. Functions ar e co ntr olled by touching sen- sor fields and confirmed by displays and acoustic signals. T ouch the sensor fields fr om above, without covering other sensor fields.
7 Operating the appliance Switching the appliance on and of f 3 After switching on, within approx. 10 seconds a heat setting or a function must be set, other- wise the appliance automatically switches it- self of f. Halogen cooking zone With halogen cooking zones full heat is reached immediately .
8 Using the automatic warm-up function All cooking zones are equpped wit h an automatic warm up function When setting a heat setting using , when starting fr om ¾ , the cooking zone switches to full power for a certain amount of time and then automatically switches back to the heat setting set.
9 Using the child safety device The child safety device prevents unintentional use of the appliance. 13 Tips on cooking and frying 3 Information abo ut acrylamides According to the latest scientific resear ch, in- tensive browning of food, especially in prod- ucts containing star ch, may pr esent a health risk due to acrylamide. The refor e we r ecom- mend cooking at low temperatures and not browning foods too much.
