5 Thermostat Controls A thermostat control is located in the top panels inside the freezer and refrigerator compartments, which controls the temperature inside the freezer and refrig- erator respectively . The Freezer T emperature Contr ol The thermostat control located inside the freezer regulates the temperature within the freezer compartment.
6 Using the Appliance This appliance is designed for domestic use only , specifically for storage of edible food- stuffs. This appliance is designed to operate in ambient temperatur es (sur r ounding air tem- peratur e) between 16 o C and 32 o C. If these temperatur es ar e exceeded i.
7 Fr ozen Food S torage Ice & W ater Dispenser The ice and water dispenser on the freezer door dispenses chilled water and ice. T o operate the dispenser: 1. Push the selector to “W ater”, “Ice Cubes” or “Crushed Ice”. 2. Press a glass against the dispensing arm.
8 Hints and Tips Food S torage • T o obtain the best results from your appliance. neither hot foods nor liquids which may evapo- rate, should be placed in the larder compartment. • A void buying frozen food if you cannot store it straight away . The use of an insulated container is advisable.
9 Ice Dispenser Clean the the dispenser and storage bin periodically . 1. Remove storage bin. Stop ice production (raise signal arm). 2. Empty and clean the storage bin with a cloth and mild solution of washing up liquid and water . DO NOT submer ge the bin in water or use abrasive cleaners.
10 External Cleaning Do not use abrasive pr oducts. Ther e may be sharp edges on the underside of the pr oduct so care should be taken when cleaning. W ipe the outer cabinet with a soft cloth and warm soapy water . S tainless S teel Doors W ipe the stainless steel doors with a soft cloth and warm soapy water .
11 Something Not Working ? Some problems are due to lack of simple maintenance or oversights, which can be solved easily without calling out an engineer . If your appliance does not function correctly , please carry out the following checks before contacting your local Service Force Centre.

15 It may be necessary to remove the doors to allow for the delivery or installation of the appliance. T o remove the fr eezer door: 1. Lift off the plastic top hinge cover . 2. T race around top hinge with soft lead pencil for ease of relocation. 3. Grip the corner and centre of base grille and pull of f.
16 14. Refit doors with all shims and washers in original order and tighten screws. Note: Do NOT over tighten . 15. T o reinstall water line elbow , grip door tube firmly and push up on elbow until it touches the black mark on the tube and comes to a stop.
17 Installation Requirements T o ensure correct operation of this appliance, it must not be located where the temperatures will fall below 16 o C (61 o F) or rise above 32 o C (90 o F).
18 Electrical Connection Any electrical work r equired to install this appliance must be carried out by a qualified electrican or competent person. This appliance must be earthed. Important If the mains supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a cable available from your local Service Force Centre.
19 Water Connection The ice maker water supply tube must be connected a a drinking water supply .
