4 OPERA TION Before using Remov e all securing tapes. W ash inside the appliance with luke warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water).
5 Normal Operating Sounds • Y ou may hear f aint gurgling or bub bling sounds when the refrigerant is pumped through the coils or tubing at the rear , to the cooling plate/ev aporator or to the fix ed freezer shelv es.
6 Mov able shelves The walls of the refrigerator hav e runners so that the shelves can be positioned as desired . For better use of space , the front half-shelves can lie ov er the rear ones. 7 Food Storage • T o obtain the best results from your appliance, neither hot foods nor liquids which ma y ev aporate, should be placed in the larder compar tment. • K eep the time between buying chilled f ood and placing it in your fridge as shor t as possible .
8 MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Before an y maintenance or cleaning work is carried out, DISCONNECT the appliance from the ELECTRICITY supply . Internal cleaning Clean the inside and accessories with warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5ml to 0.5 litre of water).
9 Remember to wash the defrost cleaner in hot soap y water at regular intervals. Dry throughly before replacing. Freezer When the frost has reached a thickness of up to 4mm it can be remov ed using the ice scraper provided with the appliance. Dur ing this operation it is not necessary to disconnect the appliance from the mains and remov e the food.

11 During a nor mal night time period of approximately 8 hours a traditional fridge freezer can normally maintain the frozen f ood temperature but if the appliance is left f or longer period in a low ambient the freezer will defrost . If, after the abo ve chec ks, there is still a f ault, call your local Service Force Centre.

14 INST ALLA TION P ositioning This appliance should only be installed at a location where the ambient temperature corresponds to the climate classification indicated on the rating plate, which is located at the left on the inside of the appliance.

17 Fit the appliance in the niche by making sure that it stands against the interior surface of the unit on the side where the door hinges of the appliances are fitted. Inser t the appliance until the upper strip butts up against the unit (1) and make sure that the low er hinge is in line with the surface of the unit (2).
18 Place guide (Ha) on the inside par t of the furniture door , up and down as shown in the figure and mark the position of external holes. After ha ving drilled holes, fix the guide with the screws supplied.
19 After completion of the door rev ersing operation, check that the door gask et adheres to the cabinet. If the ambient temperature is cold (i.e. in Winter), the gasket ma y not fit perfectly to the cabinet.
