14 WARNING - Accessib le parts beco me hot when the grill is in u se. Keep children away. USES OF THE GR ILL The grill is sit uated i n the T op oven com par tment. The gr ill is a dual cir cuit gr ill wh ich m eans that the fu ll area of the gri ll or the centre s ect ion only c an b e used.
15 THE GRILL PAN AND HANDLE The grill pan has a rem ovabl e hand le. To insert the handl e, press the bu tton on the han dle with the thumb and pivot s lightl y upwards inserting the lip into the widest par t of the brack et. Move the handle towards the left, l ower into posi tion a nd release the butt on.
16 · The grill pa n grid is re vers ible. This is us eful if you wan t to cook f oods of var ying th ick nesses . As a general ru le, bread fo r toastin g should be placed on the gr id in the 'high' p osit ion in the gr ill pan. Foods such as chic k en pieces or chops m ay be grille d using t he gr illing gr id in the lo w position.

18 USES OF THE FA N ASSISTED OVEN The Top oven is th e sm aller of the two o vens . It is conveni ent for mid- week m eals wh ere s m aller quantit ies or con venienc e foods ar e be ing cook ed.
19 HINTS AND TIPS · Use the Top o ven when you want to warm plates. Use a sett ing of 80°C – 1 00°C on the o ven temper ature contr ol. · You can use two shel ves when using the fan assist ed ov en. · There should alwa y s be at leas t 2.5cm ( 1”) between t he top of the f ood and the grill elem ent.
20 USES OF THE CONVE NTIONA L OVEN This form of cook ing gives yo u the opportu nit y to cook without the fan in operation. It is par ticular l y suitable for so me cook chill ed conveni ence foods and dis hes which re quire ex tra base bro wning suc h as pi zzas, q uiches and fl ans.

40 TO REMOVE THE OUTER GLA SS 1. Open the oven d oor sli ghtly to gai n access to the two cross head sc rews on th e top of the oven door. 2. Loosen the t wo scre ws using a P ozidri ve screwdri ver. 3. Hold the door gl ass s ecurely in place with one hand rem ove the screws and washers wit h the other hand .
41 TO REPLACE THE OUTER DOOR GLA SS 1. Holding th e oven glass with bot h h ands, gent ly place the locat ors into the ho les of the brac kets at the bottom of the oven do or. 2. Holding the door glass with yo ur lef t hand, us e your right hand t o open t he oven d oor.
42 CLEAN ING THE TOP OVEN ROOF The grill elem ent is hi nged to m ak e cleanin g the o ven roof eas ier. Switch off the appliance fr om the electric ity supply before c leaning and ensure the oven is cold. 1. Remove the wir ework side r unners. See be low.

44 TO REMOVE THE WIREW ORK RUNNERS The wir ework runners in the grill a nd ov en ca vities can be rem ove d for c leaning . 1. Remove all s helves and f urniture from the grill and oven com partments . 2. Hold the wirework at the bottom , uncli p from the cavit y side and gentl y pull towards the c entre of the gril l or ove n com partm ent.
45 The oven light i llum inates the main o ven when t he Selector is t urned to . The top o ven light illum inates when the oven temper ature contr ol is t urned. REPLACING AN OVEN LIGHT BULB Isolate the applian ce from t he ele ctricit y supply befor e replacing the bulb.
