4 OPER A TION Bef ore using Remov e all securing tapes. W ash inside the appliance with luke warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water).

6 Mo vable shelves The walls of the refrigerator ha ve runners so that shelves can be positioned as desired. P ositioning the door shelves T o permit storage of f ood packages of v ar ious sizes , the door shelves can be adjusted in height. T o do this proceed as sho wn in the diagram.
7 HINTS AND TIPS Normal Operating Sounds • Y ou may hear faint gurgling or bubb ling sounds when the refrigerant is pumped through the coils or tubing at the rear , to the cooling plate/e vaporator . • When the compressor is on, the refrigerant is being pumped round, and you will hear a whirring sound or pulsating noise from the compressor .
8 Defr osting Refrigerator The refrigerator automatically defrosts ev er y time the compressor stops. The water is discharged, via the pipe, into a tra y located at the back of the appliance abov e the compressor , where it ev aporates.
9 Freezer When the frost has reached a thickness of up to 4mm it can be remov ed using the ice scraper provided with the appliance . During this operation it is not necessar y to disconnect the appliance from the mains and remov e the food. Ne ver use metal tools f or this operation.
