[7] Inst allation Connect the headph ones’ USB Connector to the PC’s USB port. The OS will automatically detect the headphones, and the “Foun d New Hardware” message will pop up. * This product could gen erate a slight pop-up noise during connection to or removal from of the PC’s USB port.
[8] Sof tware Installation Inserting the provided Driver & Utility CD into t he PC’ s CD-ROM/DVD-ROM dr ive will generate an auto run of the installation program.
Proceed with the install ation according to the directio ns. Once inst allation is complete, rest art the system. - 6 -.
[9] System Configuration Click on the ‘USB 3D Sound Configuration’ icon in t he T ask Manager on the bottom right sid e of the OS. - 7 -.
Click on the ‘Main Setting’ tab. Output Device: Select ‘ 6 Channel ’ ( ) DSP Mode: Clicking on the Digital Volume button( ) will allow volume cont rol per channel. Clicking on the ‘ S peaker T est ’ button ( ) on the bottom will run the channel test.
Click on the ‘Mixer ’ tab. Vol: Adjusts the volume level and balance regarding the audi o input source. Select ‘Microphone’ and ‘Line In’ to disable them (This product does not have MIC and line input terminals. Therefore, the features mentioned above is should be muted ).
Click on the ‘Ef fect’ tab. Environment: Produces various so und field effect s of co ncert halls, living rooms, assembly hal ls, etc. Environment Size: Select the size of the listening r oom (small, norm al, large) . It is set to normal by default.
[10] T rouble Shooting 1) Whe n no sound is generated - Check the activation st atus of the USB C ontroller in the CMOS Settings of the PC. - Check to see if the ‘C-Media USB Sound Device’ has been set as the basic device fo r sound playback in the PC’ s Control Panel(S ounds and Audio Devices Properties).
