Installing Accessories 975-0131-01-01 2 – 23 Mounting M ultiple Inverters in P arallel As shown i n Figure 2-10, inverte rs can be m ounted side by side on wal lboard or a plywood sup por t. A mini mum of 30 cm (12 in ches) of cle aranc e between the units is r ecommended.

If the inver ter is already instal led and in operati on, it is best to perform the foll owing procedures after dark or on an overcast day when the unit is cool.

Maintenance and T rouble shooting 6 – 4 975-0131-01-01 Replacin g t h e Gr ound F ault Prot ection Fuse The ground fault protec tion fuse will blow when seve r e leakage occur s between the PV array and earth gr ound, or when the syst em has been inst al led with faulty wirin g.
Replacing P arts 975-0131-01-01 6 – 5 Replacin g t h e Inv erter Y ou can swap out the inve rter and repla ce it with anot he r G T Inver te r , le a ving the exist ing wiring box in place. This means that you do not have to distu r b wiring connec tions in the wiring box.
