6 How to install your monitor h ardware H o w t o install y our monito r har d ware If the computer is turned on you must turn it off bef ore continuing. Do not plug-in or turn-on the power to t he monito r until instructed to do so. 1. Attac h the monitor base.
7 How to install your monitor hardware 2. Connect the video cable. Connect one end of the D VI-D cable to the monit or DVI-D sock et and the othe r and to the D VI-D port on yo ur co mp ut er. The DVI-D format is used for direct digit al connection between source video and dig it al LCD monitors or projectors.
8 How to install your monitor h ardware 4. Rout e the cables via the loose bracket. R elease the cable retaining clip by squeezing the clip inwar ds as illustrated. P ositi on the cables together and reinsert the clip o ver them t o retain the cables neatly in place behind the monit or stand.

17 How to adjust the screen resolution H o w t o adj ust the screen r esolution Due to the natur e of liquid cr ystal displa y (L CD) t echnology , the picture resol ution is alwa ys fix ed. The best possible picture for y our FP202W is achieved with a resolution of 1680x1050.
18 How to adjust the screen refre sh rate H o w t o adj ust the scr een r efr esh rate Y ou don ’ t ha v e to choose the highest possible r efresh rate on an L CD display , because it is not technically possible for an L CD display to flick er . The b est results ar e obtained by using the factory modes already set in y our c omput er .
