Fill out and return the Microwave Registration Card included with your oven. If the card is missing, please send the model number and serial number of your microwave oven with your name and address to.
iMPORTANT SAH33’ INSTRUCTIONS Microwave ovens have been thoroughly tested for safe and efficient operation. However, as with any appliance, there are special installation and safety precautions which must be followed to ensure safe and satisfactory operation and prevent damage to the unit.
Microwave oven controls There are four parts in the control section: -The Digital Display/Clock and Indicator Lights - Command Pads - Number Pads -Fan and Light Pads When you first plug in the oven, a tone sounds and the Display will show 88:88.
Number Pads Fan and light Pads The six pads at the bottom of the control panel control the 2-Speed Exhaust Fan and the Cook- top Light. Touch Fan Pad for the desired fan speed.
2. Touch Number Pads for the correct time of day. The Display will show what numbers you touched in the order you touched them. This example shows 3:25. m I - 3. Touch START. The colon will stop flashing. The Clock is set. If you have touched in an incorrect time, such asl2:65, “Err” will show on the Display.
Changing the Minute Timer Cancelling the Minute Timer -Touch MINUTE TIMER. -Touch numbers to set new time. - Touch START. New instructions cancel the old ones. -Touch MINUTE TIMER. -Touch CANCEL. Note. Touch MINUTE TIMER before touching CANCEL to cancel just the Minute Timer.

DO THIS... 1. Put food in the oven and close the door. THIS HAPPENS... The COOK 1 Indicator Light will come on and the Display will show four O’s 2. Touch COOK 1.
When the cooking time ends, “End” will show on the Display and 4 beeps will sound. (You can stop the beeping by opening the door or by touching CANCEL.] “End” will remain on the Display and a reminder tone will sound every 60 seconds (to remind you that food is left in the oven] until the door is opened or CANCEL is touched.
0 A The Display will show what you touched in even minutes. This example shows 4 minutes. 3. Touch a Number Pad for the new cooking time you want from 1 to 9 minutes. 4. Touch COOK POWER. (Option: Skip to Step 6 if you want to cook at HIGH power.) *.se,,--x.
Changing the Pre-programmed Setting You can change the pre-programmed cooking time and Cook Power in AUTO SET to the time and powe ‘:, you most often use. To change the AUTO SET setting, follow these steps. ‘&,, a 1. Touch AUTO SET twice. i-~ 2.
5. Touch a Number Pad for the Cook Power you want. The Display will show what you touched. This example shows you touched Number Pad 5 for 50% of full power. 6. Touch START. The AUTO SET and PROBE TEMP Indica- tor Lights will stay on. The Display will show “COOL” if the food is less than 90°F.
Additional Information Temperature may be changed after START is touched by touching TEMP the new number and START. Auto Set TEMP can be programmed to follow the Cook cycle, if desired.
Standing Time and Cooking Automatically After Defrosting For best results, allow the food to stand for a while after defrosting. This helps equalize the temperature of the food to provide more even defrosting. When Cook 1 is set to follow QUICK DEFROST, the oven automatically provides a standing time equal to the time touched in for QUICK DEFROST.
Cooking in More Than One Cycle at One or More Cook Powers For best results, some recipes call for one Cook Power for a certain length of time, and another Cook Power for another length of time. Your oven can be set to change from one to another automatically.

The COOK POWER Indicator Light will come on and the Display will show “P-HI:’ This shows the oven is preprogrammed to cook at full (HIGH) power.
When Cook 2 ends, “End” will show on the Display and 4 beeps will sound. NOlI: Some foods are started uslng a tlmed (COOK) cycle and flnlshed by using the temperature (PROBE TEMP) cycle. You can set PROBE TEMP to follow COOK to avold the need to reset the oven halfway through the cycle. PROBE TEMP can be progmmmed wlth the temperafure probe out.
Using PAUSE For best results, some recipes call for stirring, turning or adding ingredients during cooking. Your micro- wave oven can be set to pause between COOK 1 and COOK 2, between any Cook cycle .
Adding PAUSE PAUSE can be added to the cycle in operation, II there is to be another cycle. Touch PAUSE. Touch START. The microwave oven will stop automatically.
Using AUTO START The microwave oven can be set to start automatically at a later time. Use AUTO START to delay the start of cooking for up to 11 hours, 59 minutes. DO THIS... THIS HAPPENS... __n-~.l_ _I __--,_ ” _ .-~_-ll.-~I.,~ .I.. --_-l_.---l---.
7. Touch COOK POWER. (Option: Skip to Step 9 if you want20 use high power.) The COOK POWER Indicator Light will come on and the Display will show “P-HI:’ This shows the oven is pre- programmed to cook at full (HIGH) power. The Display will show what you touched.
Additional information Additional cycles can be set when using AUTO START. Follow instructions underthe proper heading (Defrosting, Cooking in More Than One Cycle, Cooking with the Temperature Probe, Using PAUSE, Using KEEP WARM] either before or after you touch START.
Bi-Level Cooking Rack Use the Bi-Level Cooking Rack for extra space when cooking in more than one container at the same time. The metal rack can be turned upside-down to help fit taller containers on the bottom of the oven. Inserting the Rack r Insert the rack securely into the rack supports on the side walls of the oven [first position].
Caring for the Filters The grease filters should be removed and cleaned often, at least once a month. NOTE: if your microwave hood combination is installed to recirculate air, the charcoal filter (Part No. 4158313) should be replaced every 6-12 months.
Replacing the Cooktop and Oven Lights Fire Hazard Use only candelabra base bulbs, 30 -watt maximum. Failure to do so could result in fire. The Cooktop light: Electrical Shock Hazard Turn off power at main power &pply before re- placing the light bulb.
3per;rting safety precautions To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, injury to persons, or damage when using the microwave oven, follow the precautions on pages 30-32. NEVER COOK OR REHEAT A WHOLE EGG. Steam build-up in whole eggs may cause them to burst and burn you, and possibly damage the oven.
QO NOT use the oven for storage. Do not leave paper products, books or cooking utensils in the oven when not in use. Fire may result if someone accidentally starts the oven. General information If your electric power line or outlet voltage is less than normal 120 volts, cooking times may be longer. To test a dish for safe use, put it into the oven with a cup of water beside it. Cook on HIGH Cook Power for one minute. If the dish gets hot and water stays cool, do not use it.
