5 Electrical R equirements Observe all gover ning cod es and ordinances. A 120 V olt, 60 Hz, AC only , 15- or 20-amp fused e lectr ical suppl y is r equired. ( A time -delay fus e or cir cuit br eaker is re commen ded .) It is recommended that a sepa rate circuit serv ing only this appliance be provided.
6 Sensor Cooking The microwave system features the 6th Sense™ cooking sys tem. A humidit y sensor in th e oven cavity d etects mois ture and humidity emitted from food as it heats. The sensor adjusts cooking times to various ty pes and amounts of food.
7 MICROWAVE OVEN CONTROL Display When power is firs t supplied to t he microwave oven, a “:” will blink on the display . T ouch CANCEL•OFF to stop the blinking. If the “:” blinks on the display at an y other time, a power fa ilure has occurred.
8 Clock This is a 12-hour clock and does not show a.m. or p.m. To S e t : The microwave oven and Ti mer must be off. 1. T ouch CLOCK. 2. T ouch the number p ads to set the time of day . 3. T ouch CLOCK or JET ST ART . To R e m o v e : 1. T ouch CLOCK.
9 Cooktop Light The cooktop light h as 4 settings: high , medium, night and off. T o T urn On/N ight/Off: T ouch LIGH T HIGH •MED•NIGHT •OFF repeatedly to cycle th rough settings. Demo Mode The Demo Mode is id eal for lear ning how to use the microwave oven.
10 Cookware and Dinne rware Cookware and dinnerware must fi t on the tur ntabl e. Always us e oven mitts or pot holders when ha ndling becau se any di sh may become hot from heat transf erred from the food. Do not use cookwar e and dinnerwar e with gold or silver trim.
11 Cooking To U s e : 1. T ouch COOK TIME. 2. T ouch the numbe r pads to set a length of time to cook. T ouch COOK POWER to set a cooking power othe r than 100%. T ouch the numb er pad(s ) using the Cooking P ower chart. 3. T ouch JET ST ART . The di splay will count down t he cook t ime.
12 Preset Cooking Times and cooking power h ave been preset for ce rtain microwavable foods. Use the following chart as a guide. *S e n s o r f u n c t i o n ** Differ en ces in the amou nt of fat, meat, thickness , and curing process affect results. Average is 16 slices per pou nd.

15 Kids Menu The Kids Menu function is pr eset with cooking times and cook pow ers for sever al typi cal chil dren’ s menu items t hat ar e cooked in the microwave ove n. Use the following chart as a guide. *This f unction is not intend ed for meal-in-a -cup pr oducts.
16 To S t e a m : Before using, make sure the microwave oven has been pl ugged in for 2 ¹⁄₂ minutes and fill th e dish wit h at least ¹⁄₄ cup (60 mL) of water when usi ng the colander . More water may be neede d when not using the colander .
