2 UL-ES-Contempra IV-WH05 1. Installation work and electrical wiring must be done by qualified person(s) in accordance with all applicable codes and standards (ANSI/NFPA 70-1996), including fire-rated construction. 2. Use this unit only in the manner intended by the manufacturer .

4 UL-ES-Contempra IV-WH05 COMBO-BLADE Combo-Blades feature two high quality finishes on one blade. Select the one that best complements your decor , or change the style with just a flip of the blade. NOTE: Combo-Blade finishes vary , depending upon model.
5 UL-ES-Contempra IV-WH05 Unpack and inspect fan carefully to be certain all contents are included. Tu rn off power at fuse box to avoid possible electrical shock.
6 UL-ES-Contempra IV-WH05 MOUNTING BRACKET INST ALLA TION INST ALACIÓN CON SOPOR TE DE MONT AJE 3 Remove the screws and star washers (1) from the bracket as shown above. Loosen (do not remove) the screws (2) from the bracket as shown above. Install mounting bracket to outlet box in ceiling using the screws and washers provided with the outlet box.
7 UL-ES-Contempra IV-WH05 MOUNTING MONT AJE 5 While fan is hanging from the mounting plate, connect the wires with wire connectors (included), using the following steps for wiring options.

11 UL-ES-Contempra IV-WH05 13 14 15 Install shades to light kit by finger -tightening the screws for each shade holder as shown. Do not overtighten screws. Install light bulbs (not included). Speed settings for warm or cool weather depend on factors such as room size, ceiling height, number of fans and so on.
