5 5 Index Contents Index Cont ents YOUR INKLING Inkling can be used anywhere you migh t use a r egular pe ncil, pen, and paper . As you sketch on any kind of paper , Inkling digitally captur es yo ur sketches and sa ves them for up loading to your computer at a later time.

12 Index Contents 12 Index Cont ents BATTERY LIFE INFORMATION All batteries age over time and gradually lose their ability to hold a char ge. • When you are done working, turn off the Inkling r e ceiver to conserve battery power . • Always char ge the receiver when the r ece iver power LED glows r ed.

Y ou can use the Inkling Sketch Manager to view , organize, and pr epare your sketches before exporting and editing them in your favorite applications.

17 Index Contents 17 Index Cont ents ATTACHING THE R ECEIVER TO PAPER A new sketch file is created whenev er the receiver clip is ope ned an d then closed as you attach the Inkling receiver to a sheet of paper . Attach the receiver to loose sheets, or to pages in a notebook or drawing pad.

19 Index Contents 19 Index Cont ents SKETCHING WITH PR ESSURE AND TILT As you sketch on paper , Inkling will digitally captur e the variations in pen tip pressure and tilt. If you make a mistake you can delete unwanted strokes in the Inkling Sketch Manager or ex p o rt to a no t he r application and make changes there.
20 Index Contents 20 Index Cont ents V IEWING AND UPLOADING A SKETCH After you have finished sketching, connect the Inkling r eceiver to your computer . Upload the files to your computer for further editing. 1. Attach the small end of the provided USB cable to the receiver .
21 21 Index Contents Index Cont ents INKLING SKETCH MANAGER The Inkling Sketch Manager is a softwar e application that enables you to view and work with the sketch files you cr eate using Inkling. This chapter describes how to use the Sketch Manager , and includes information about some of the more difficult concepts.

See adding layers . Use the Inkling Sketch Manager E DITOR to fine-tune a sketch: • Delete pen strokes or layers.

T o isolate any combin ation of strokes, move the left or right sc rubber hea ds along the ba r . As you move a scr ubber head, the pen strokes selected by that scrubber will change color to indicate a g rouping of strokes.

30 Index Contents 30 Index Cont ents MANAGING INKLING SETTINGS Use the Inkling Sketch Manager to change your In kling settings. From the upper toolbar choose T OO LS and S ETTINGS (Windows) or S KETCH M ANAGE R and P RE FE RE N CE S ... (Macintosh). Within the S ETTINGS dialog choose a tab and make your changes.

Se non hai ancora comprato il Wacom Inkling è un buon momento per familiarizzare con i dati di base del prodotto. Prime consultare le pagine iniziali del manuale d’uso, che si trova al di sopra. Dovresti trovare lì i dati tecnici più importanti del Wacom Inkling - in questo modo è possibile verificare se l’apparecchio soddisfa le tue esigenze. Le informazioni sul Wacom Inkling ti aiuteranno sicuramente a prendere una decisione relativa all’acquisto.
