4 CONT ACT HEART RA TE HAND PULSE HEART RA TE SENSORS The Contact Hand Pulse Sensors are included on each product to monitor your heart rate. T o use, grasp the sensors with a comfor table grip during your workout. The console will display your heart rate.

6 ALL BIKES ASSEMBL Y It is recommended, when possible, that an authorized VISION FITNESS retailer assemble your Bike. If you have elected to assemble this product yourself, for your safety , please read and follow each of the steps in the enclosed assembly instructions.
7 ALL BIKES ST ABILIZING THE BIKE After positioning your Bike in its intended location, check its stability by attempting to rock it side to side. Rocking or wobbling indicates that the Bike needs to be leveled. Determine which leveler is not resting completely on the floor .
8 ALL BIKES UPRIGHT SEA T ADJUSTMENT The Upright Bikes feature a locking seat adjustment pin to easily and safely adjust the seat height. T o adjust, loosen the adjustment knob by turning it two half turns counter- clockwise. Pull out the knob to unlock the post, and adjust the post up or down to the desired setting.
9 ALL BIKES R2250 SEMI-RECUMBENT SEA T ADJUSTMENT While seated on your Bike, lift the spring-loaded seat lever on the right side of the seat to make adjustments. Slide the seat for ward or backward to desired location. Release the spring-loaded seat lever and gently attempt to rock for ward and backward to assure it is locked in place.
10 ALL BIKES PEDAL STRAP ADJUSTMENT The straps are designed to fit your individual foot size and should be adjusted tight enough to keep your feet from slipping. The pedals include spring-loaded clips for easy adjustment. T o tighten the strap, pull down the open end of the strap.
11 ALL BIKES SERVICE AND TROUBLESHOOTING PREVENT A TIVE MAINTENANCE TIPS • Locate Bike in a cool, dr y place. • Clean the top surface of the pedals regularly . • Make sure pedals are kept tight to crank arms. • Keep the display console free from fingerprints and salt build-up caused by sweat.
12 ALL BIKES TROUBLESHOOTING Our Bikes are designed to be reliable and easy to use. If, however , you have a problem, these troubleshooting steps may reveal the cause. PROBLEM: The console does not light up. SOLUTION: Check to make sure the power switch located on the backside of the console is turned on.
13 ALL BIKES R2250 ONL Y PROBLEM: The seat on your semi- recumbent Bike rocks from side to side. SOLUTION: With a 13mm wrench, loosen the Fixing Nuts on the side of the seat frame. With an 11mm wrench, pivot the Adjusting Post so the Fixing Nut is at the top of the slot.

16 ALL ELLIPTICALS PLACEMENT IN YOUR HOME Please follow the safety instructions to place the Elliptical T rainer in the location where it will best be used. It is important that you place your Elliptical T rainer in a comfor table and inviting room. Avoid putting your Elliptical T rainer in an unfinished basement or undesirable setting.
17 ALL ELLIPTICALS X6200 ONL Y FOLDING YOUR ELLIPTICAL TRAINER It is important to always follow steps in the correct order when folding your Elliptical T rainer . STEP 1: On the left side of the machine, locate the arrow on the side cover that points to the four o’clock position of the disk.
18 ALL ELLIPTICALS STEP 2: Move to the right side of the machine. Simultaneously lift both the pedal arm and the guide rail upon which the pedal arm rests to the ver tical position (image A). The locking device, which is mounted to the guide rail, should now be aligned with the cylinder on the backside of the pedal arm.
19 ALL ELLIPTICALS STEP 3: T o unfold your Elliptical T rainer , push the recessed lock key , found on the underside of the guide rail (image C), to release the lock. Pull the guide rail away from the pedal arm, and lower both to the floor . Repeat this step on the opposite side to completely unfold your Elliptical T rainer .
20 ALL ELLIPTICALS SERVICE AND TROUBLESHOOTING PREVENT A TIVE MAINTENANCE TIPS • Locate Elliptical T rainer in a cool, dr y place. • Make sure all bolts and fasteners are kept tight. • Keep the display console free from fingerprints and salt build-up caused by sweat.
21 ALL ELLIPTICALS TROUBLESHOOTING Our Elliptical T rainers are designed to be reliable and easy to use. If, however , you have a problem, these troubleshooting steps may reveal the cause. Each horizontal row of blocks represents your segment time, which is total workout time divided by twelve. Each vertical column of blocks represents the resistance level, which is one block for ever y two levels.
26 SIMPLE USING THE SIMPLE CONSOLE QUICK ST ART The quickest and easiest way to begin exercising is to simply press ST ART . Y ou will begin exercising in manual mode for a default time at the default resistance level. Y ou can change the resistance manually with the arrow keys.

32 DELUXE E. ST ART/P AUSE/HOLD TO RESET KEY Press the ST ART key to begin exercising at the set default time. Press ST ART when instructed to by the scrolling LCD message center to begin a program. When exercising, press the ST ART key to pause your workout.
33 DELUXE THE DELUXE CONSOLE PROGRAMS MANUAL is a workout in which the resistance level does not change unless you change it. INTERV AL is an efficient workout that strengthens your cardiovascular system by alternating work inter vals with recover y inter vals.
34 DELUXE F A T BURN is a program intended to target your stored body fat. This program is generally used at a slightly lower intensity , but runs for longer durations than other programs (30 to 60 minutes is recommended). MOUNT AIN features gradual increases in resistance to simulate riding through a mountain range.
35 DELUXE USING THE SPRINT 8 PROGRAM The Sprint 8 program is an anaerobic inter val program designed to build muscle, improve speed, and naturally increase the release of Human Growth Hormone (HGH) in your body .
36 DELUXE USING THE PROGRAMS SELECTING QUICK ST ART The easiest way to begin exercising is to simply press the ST ART key . Y ou will begin exercising at a MANUAL resistance program in which you can change the resistance levels to meet your goals. Current default settings will be used to determine exercise feedback.
37 DELUXE ENTERING TIME When prompted by the message center to enter a time, use the UP ▲ arrow and DOWN ▼ arrow to adjust the displayed exercise time to a desired value. 49 PREMIER USING CUSTOM PROGRAMS The CUSTOM USER program allows five separate workouts to be completed, saved, and then stored for future use. Setup for the CUSTOM USER programs begins just as any other program. The user will press the CUSTOM program key .
50 PREMIER GOAL PROGRAMS The GOAL programs allow you to select one of three programs, TIME GOAL, CALORIE GOAL, and DIST ANCE GOAL. These goals are designed to run until you have reached your set target goal. Setup for the GOAL PROGRAMS begins just as any other program.
51 PREMIER HRT PROGRAMS T ARGET HRT The T ARGET HRT program is designed to maintain your heart rate at 70% of your predicted maximum heart rate. It is intended to improve ef ficiency and endurance of your cardiovascular system by working your heart, lungs and circulator y systems.
52 PREMIER ALL HRT PROGRAMS During the workout, the user will grasp the hand pulse sensors or wear the telemetric chest strap to send their heart rate signal to a receiver in the console. The console will continuously monitor the heart rate, adjusting the resistance level to keep your heart rate within several beats of your T arget Heart Rate.
53 PREMIER USING HEART RA TE TRAINING WHA T IS HEART RA TE TRAINING? Heart Rate T raining means exercising at an intensity that keeps you in your ideal heart rate zone. Y our personal hear t rate training zone depends on your fitness goal, such as weight loss, cardiovascular endurance, or strength building.
54 PREMIER TELEMETRIC HEART RA TE CHEST STRAP (A V AILABLE WITH PREMIER CONSOLE ONL Y) The wireless T elemetric Chest Strap uses a pair of electrodes on the underside of the strap to send your heart rate signal to the console. Prior to wearing the chest strap, moisten the two rubber electrode pads with several drops of water .
55 PREMIER TROUBLESHOOTING YOUR HEART RA TE MONITOR CHEST STRAP PROBLEM: No pulse reading appears. SOLUTION: There may be a poor connection between the contact pads and skin; remoisten the electrode pads. SOLUTION: T ransmitter is not properly positioned; reposition the chest strap.

65 GENERAL EXERCISE GUIDELINES EXERCISE DURA TION A common question asked is, “how much exercise do I need?” W e recommend following the guidelines set up by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) for healthy aerobic activity . • Exercise three to five days per week.
66 GENERAL T ARGET HEART RA TE T arget Heart Rate is a percentage of your maximum hear t rate. T arget Heart Rate will var y for each individual depending on age, current level of conditioning, and personal fitness goals. Exercise heart rate should range from 55% to 85% of your maximum heart rate.
