Manual winding timepieces 1. Wind the movement if necessar y by turning the cro wn a few times (position 1). 2. Pull out the crown to position 2. 3. T urn to the desired time. Remember the dat e a dvan ces at 1 2:00 midn ight , not 12:00 noon. 4. Pu sh the cr o wn bac k to po si ti on 1 .

GMT TIME SC ALE Using the rota ting crown (A), rotate inner bezel to select the time zone where you currently are and align it with “City” marking a t 12 o’clock. Note: GMT time is on a 24 hour militar y time scale. T o set the GMT time (hand with special arrow) 1.
ROT A TING BEZEL WITH COUNTUP FUNCTION When a scale is going from 5 to 60 (clockwise incrementation) we may use the bezel as a counter , to count up to 60 minutes. The rota ting bezel enables divers to measure both dive time and any other lapse of time.
WA TER RESIST ANCE CLASSIFICA TION: Timepieces are classified by their degree of wa ter resistance, which roughly translates to the following (1 meter = 3.28 feet). All Victorinox Swiss Army timepieces are water -resistant from 30 meters to 500 meters.
METER/BAR CORRELAT ION Meter and bar measurements are different things: under water , the water pressure is added to the air pressure above; a depth of 10 meters corresponds to 1 bar of water pressure and 1 bar of atmospheric pressure above water level, therefore 2 bars in total.
